Top Bollywood Stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyotika have garnered success with the hit film ‘Shaitaan’ and its strong box office debut.
The collaboration between Mukesh Ambani’s Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn’s Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios has proven fruitful with “Shaitaan.”
The film achieved a worldwide weekend gross of $9.8 million, including a $1.8 million international weekend, making it Devgn’s second-highest overseas opening.
Starring in the supernatural thriller genre, “Shaitaan” features a stellar cast and is directed by Vikas Bahl, with a gripping storyline written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Krishnadev Yagnik.
The plot revolves around Kabir and his family as they delve into the dark world of black magic after a mysterious stranger, played by R. Madhavan, enters their lives.
In addition to the success of “Shaitaan,” Panorama Studios is making strides internationally with the remake of the hit Indian thriller “Drishyam.”
The first installment was remade in Hindi in 2015, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, and its sequel, “Drishyam 2,” released in 2022, grossed an impressive $43 million worldwide.
Panorama Studios has acquired the international remake rights for “Drishyam 1 & 2,” with plans for multiple international versions, including a Korean and a potential Spanish language adaptation.
