‘Knives Out’ Director-Producer Duo Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman Seal Two-Picture Deal with Warner Bros.

Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman’s company T-Street has signed a two-picture producing deal with Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group.

Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, who took over as the studio’s co-chairs and CEOs in 2022, orchestrated the deal. It marks the producers’ first collaboration with Warner Bros.

Having previously worked with Lionsgate on “Knives Out,” Netflix on “Glass Onion,” Disney on “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” and Focus Features on “Brick,” it’s unclear if Johnson will direct either of the films at Warner Bros.

“Our renewed commitment to original storytelling and the theatrical experience make Warner Bros. Discovery an ideal place to help bring the filmmakers we love to audiences around the world on a grand scale,” said Johnson and Bergman.

T-Street has backed Chloe Domont’s “Fair Play” and Cord Jefferson’s “American Fiction,” with the former on Netflix and the latter in theaters, earning $22 million globally.

On the TV side, T-Street has produced “Poker Face” with Natasha Lyonne and Netflix’s “3 Body Problem” while gearing up for the third “Knives Out” installment.

De Luca and Abdy, who previously ran MGM and recently made a deal with Tom Cruise and struck pacts with Paul Thomas Anderson and Robert De Niro, welcomed Rian and Ram to the Warner Bros. family.

T-Street is represented by CAA and attorney Stephen Clark.
