Exciting News: Pablo Larraín’s Fabula and Fremantle Extend First-Look Deal

Exciting news in the entertainment industry as Fabula and Fremantle extend their first-look deal. The partnership will focus on creating original dramas and films distributed globally by Fremantle’s FMI.

Fabula, led by Pablo Larraín and Juan de Dios Larraín, already produced acclaimed series like “La Jauría” and “Señorita 89.” Their new project, “Midnight Family,” is a medical drama for Apple TV+ inspired by a documentary.

Recently, they completed filming Sebastian Lelio’s musical “The Wave” with Participant Media, delving into Chile’s feminist May protests. Upcoming is the film “Maria,” featuring Angelina Jolie as Maria Callas and co-produced with Fremantle and Komplizen Film.

The collaboration continues to strengthen, with Fabula working closely with Fremantle’s global drama CEO, Christian Vesper, and COO Seb Shorr. Pablo and Juan de Dios Larraín expressed great satisfaction with the partnership and look forward to future endeavors with Fremantle.
