Luke Evans and Milla Jovovich are set to star in Brad Anderson’s sci-fi action film “World Breaker”. The movie is being handled by The Exchange and will be presented at the Berlin European Film Market.
Evans, known for “Beauty and the Beast,” recently starred in “Backstairs Billy”. Jovovich, famous for “Resident Evil,” previously co-starred with Evans in “The Three Musketeers.” Anderson’s credits include “The Call” and “Beirut”.
The film follows a father and daughter after creatures from an alternate dimension threaten Earth’s existence. The father shields his daughter on an island, preparing her for the imminent battles.
“World Breaker” is written by Joshua Rollins and produced by Martin Brennan. It will film in Northern Ireland with support from Northern Ireland Screen. The U.S. rights will be held by the producers.
The Exchange’s EFM lineup also includes Orlando Bloom’s “The Cut,” Anna Faris’ “I, Object,” and other projects, attesting to the strong commercial appeal of “World Breaker”.
