Film “Encanto” (2021) takes place in the Colombian mountains where the Madrigal family holds a magical secret. Each family member possesses unique powers, except for 15-year-old Mirabel.
Mirabel grapples with her lack of magical abilities and tries to find her true identity within her gifted family. Co-directed by Jared Bush, Byron Howard, and Charise Castro Smith, the film stars Stephanie Beatriz, Diane Guerrero, and Wilmer Valderrama.
