BAFTA Awards to Air Complete Ceremony, Including Best Film Category, with Two-Hour Delay

The BAFTA Awards will broadcast as-live on the BBC with a two-hour delay. It will be hosted by David Tennant and available on iPlayer and BritBox.

The final four categories will not be broadcast live this year. Producers aim to edit down the footage for a 120-minute run-time.

Last year’s live broadcast of the final four categories did not add significantly to the show, leading to the decision to forgo the live element this year.

The 2022 BAFTA ceremony is set to follow in the footsteps of the high-rated 2021 event.

Although the broadcast will feature a slight delay and edited content, the live atmosphere of the ceremony will remain unchanged.

The BAFTA Film Awards will be held on Feb. 18 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
