Sydney Sweeney is dominating the box office this Valentine’s Day with the release of “Madame Web” and a re-release of “Anyone but You”.
The R-rated rom-com has grossed over $170 million globally and continues with a special “The Valentine’s Encore” run.
Sweeney expressed gratitude at the “Madame Web” premiere and hinted at surprise bonus footage in the re-release.
In “Madame Web,” Sweeney portrays Julia Carpenter, part of a trio of teenagers destined to be superheroines.
Sweeney hopes the film’s empowering message resonates, particularly with young women.
