“Hot Fuzz” is a 2007 contemporary action comedy starring Simon Pegg as Nicholas Angel, a top London cop promoted to the sleepy village of Sandford due to his impeccable record.
Recognizing his fellow officers’ shortcomings, Angel is exiled to a tranquil village, where he partners with the oafish Danny Butterman, played by Nick Frost. However, a series of “accidents” lead to suspicions of a sinister plot.
