Yasmin McDonald has joined CAA’s Books department in London. She brings 18 years of experience and a focus on adapting literature for screen and stage.
McDonald was previously a Partner at United Agents and has represented respected authors, illustrators, and directors.
Her role at CAA will involve identifying literary IP for adaptation and continuing to represent established talents from the U.K. and Europe.
Her career highlights include successful adaptations like “A Very English Scandal” and the “Mrs. Doubtfire” stage musical.
In the past year, CAA’s Books department has seen success with over 350 book titles sold for motion picture or television rights.
This includes productions like “The Morning Show” and “Where the Crawdads Sing,” indicating a bright future for McDonald at CAA.
