The 2015 film “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is a sequel to “The Avengers.” The iconic superhero team faces a new threat: a sentient robot named Ultron. Created to keep peace, Ultron believes in exterminating humanity for world peace. The Avengers, including Iron Man and Captain America, must stop him.
Since the last film, the team has been fighting a secret society called HYDRA. Tony Stark creates Ultron to help but things go awry. The addition of superpowered siblings Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch complicates the battle. Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders co-star. The movie is rated PG13 and falls under the genres of action, adventure, and science fiction. Joss Whedon, the writer and director of the previous Avengers movie, returns in the same roles for this installment.
