“Mean Girls” Removes Controversial ‘Fire Crotch’ Joke Following Lindsay Lohan’s Expressions of Hurt and Disappointment

A controversial joke from the digital version of “Mean Girls” was removed after Lindsay Lohan expressed hurt and disappointment.

The term “fire crotch” was associated with Lohan in 2006 by Brandon Davis in a paparazzi video with Paris Hilton.

In this year’s movie musical, a joke references “fire crotch,” but it has since been edited out of the film.

Lindsay Lohan was upset by the reference, considering it a hurtful reminder of past derogatory nicknames.

Paramount has not responded to requests for comments on the matter.

In a surprise cameo, Lohan returned to “Mean Girls” as the Mathletes Championship moderator, receiving positive reactions at the film’s premiere.
