Under Parallel Skies, the Filipino drama, will hit Warner Bros. theatres in Asia. It premieres this weekend at the Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong. Directed by Sigrid Bernardo, the film follows a Thai man searching for his mother in Hong Kong, aided by a Filipino hotelier played by Janella Salvador. The movie was shot in Hong Kong with the support of the local tourist board.

Warner Bros. will release the film in The Philippines from April 17, Singapore from May, and Thailand from May 9. The collaboration between 28 Squared Studios and Warner Bros. Philippines marks the first theatrical pickup of a Filipino film by Warner Bros.

The movie, which showcases the talent from Southeast Asia, is poised to make a splash on the global stage.
