Aaron Pierre has revealed that he is no longer part of Marvel’s Blade film project. He shared this news at the 55th NAACP Image Awards.
Originally set to star alongside Mahershala Ali, no details were disclosed about his role.
The Blade film has faced difficulties with directors and writers exiting the project since July 2021.
Mahershala Ali remains positive about the project, saying they are working on it and will be back at it soon.
Aaron Pierre, listed as one of Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch, expressed excitement about other upcoming projects he is involved in.
Among his projects is “Rebel Ridge” with Jeremy Saulnier and “The Lion King” prequel with Barry Jenkins, set to be released this year.
