This musical thriller is co-produced with French production companies and will be distributed in French theaters by Pathé.
Director Jacques Audiard describes ‘Emilia Perez’ as an “opera libretto in four acts” starring rising Argentinian trans actor Karla Sofia Gascón. The film follows a Mexican cartel leader who undergoes a sex change to escape the law. With a talented creative team on board, including renowned composer Clement Ducol and choreographer Damien Jalet, the movie promises to be a captivating experience.
