Bob Yari Leaves WonderHill to Launch Exciting New Distribution Venture

Less than a year after announcing dual leadership at the production and distribution venture WonderHill Studios, veteran producers Bob Yari and Marvin Peart are parting ways.

The pair will disband as Co-CEOs of the company. Yari will remain an investor. The split is amicable, and they feel comfortable with their own visions. Peart will continue as WonderHill CEO.

Yari has formed Magenta Light Studios to release 3-5 films yearly in theaters. Both companies are active in acquisitions, competing with streaming giants and legacy studios.

Yari is known for producing “Crash,” and works like “Prime” and “The Illusionist.” He’s executive producer for Taylor Sheridan’s storytelling universe, including “Yellowstone.”

Peart has worked on films such as “The War With Grandpa” and “Life on the Line.” He was also involved in the reality show “Mob Wives” and a spinoff with Angela “Big Ang” Raiola.
