Chris Rock to direct remake of Oscar-winning film Another Round. Remake will be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson for Appian Way. The original film is a black comedy about four high school teachers who experiment with staying intoxicated throughout the workday.
The movie was a critical success and won the Best International Feature Film Oscar. Chris Rock, the director of the remake, has previously directed a few films, with varying degrees of success.
His 2003 comedy, Head of State, and his 2007 film, I Think I Love My Wife, were met with negative reviews, but his 2014 film, Top Five, was a critical success.
Aside from directing the Another Round remake, Rock is also working on an adaptation of King: A Life and an untitled script. Exciting projects ahead for the multi-talented Chris Rock!
