King Kong, directed by Peter Jackson, is a thrilling adventure drama set in the 1930s. The daring filmmaker Carl Denham plans to film on Skull Island. He recruits Ann Darrow, a vaudeville performer, and playwright Jack Driscoll.
Upon arrival, they face savage natives and encounter Kong, a 25-foot-tall gorilla. Darrow bonds with Kong, causing a chain of events.
The movie is a mix of action, adventure, drama, and fantasy. The MPAA rating is PG13.
