Film “Lord of War” (2005)
One man shows how to get rich selling weapons to warring nations in this dark comedy. Yuri Orlov (Nicolas Cage) seizes the opportunity after the Cold War, selling Soviet weapons to the highest bidder.
Now available at bargain prices, these weapons are traded to unstable Third World nations for cash. Despite his riches, Orlov attracts the attention of Interpol agent Jack Valentine (Ethan Hawke) who is determined to uncover his illegal dealings.
Based on a true story, the film also stars Jared Leto, Ian Holm, Bridget Moynahan, and Donald Sutherland. Lord of War is a mix of action, adventure, drama, war, crime, thriller, and comedy.
