Film “Psycho II” (1983) is a sequel to the iconic horror film that surprised critics with its positive reception. Anthony Perkins reprises his role as Norman Bates, recently released from an asylum after being deemed sane, much to the dismay of his past victim’s sister. Norman struggles to integrate back into society while haunted by hallucinations of his deceased mother. As his mental state deteriorates, the question arises whether his psychosis is resurfacing or if someone is trying to push him over the edge.
