The 2005 film “The Fog” is a remake of a thriller by John Carpenter. Set in a coastal town, it follows the story of a charter-boat captain Nick Castle who uncovers a dark secret after finding an antique ship’s treasure. As the souls of the ship’s crew seek revenge from the grave, a thick fog envelops the town. The film features a mix of action, adventure, horror, drama, mystery, and thriller genres. Rated PG13, it was one of the final projects for producer Debra Hill, who worked on the original movie. Hill sadly passed away before filming began.
