Fruit Chan Named Filmmaker in Focus at Hong Kong Festival

Fruit Chan is the filmmaker in focus at the Hong Kong International Film Festival. The festival will honor him with a commemorative book, a face-to-face interview, and the screening of ten of his movies.

These include: “Made in Hong Kong,” “The Longest Summer,” “Little Cheung,” “Durian Durian,” “Hollywood Hong Kong,” “Public Toilet,” “Dumplings,” “The Midnight After,” “My City” and “Three Husbands.”

Singapore’s Vividthree signs non-binding term sheet with China’s Metavision International to explore stock swap and invest in TMP Immersive Expedition Center in Chengdu, China.

Australian independent cinema chain Majestic Cinemas has entered voluntary administration. The reduced box office due to COVID-19, Hollywood strikes, and natural disasters led to this decision. While under administration, the cinemas will remain open for business.
