Legendary Director Ridley Scott to Bring Bee Gees Story to Life in New Paramount Film
Ridley Scott in talks to direct Paramount’s Bee Gees film.
Scott will produce, co-funded by Amblin and SISTER. Barry Gibb will executive produce.
It’s been a long road to tell the Bee Gees’ story. Kenneth Branagh was previously tapped.
The Gibb brothers’ story was recently depicted in 2020 documentary series “The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.”
Scott’s “Gladiator” sequel will hit theaters on Nov. 22. His previous credits include “Thelma & Louise”, and “Black Hawk Down.”
Paramount’s most recent music biopic, “Bob Marley: One Love” is releasing in theaters this week.
