Netflix has revealed the star-studded cast for the upcoming installment of the “Fear Street” franchise, titled “Prom Queen.” The ensemble includes India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor, and Katherine Waterston.
The film is based on R.L. Stine’s 1992 novel “The Prom Queen” from the “Fear Street” series. It follows the prom season at Shadyside High and the mysterious disappearances of girls nominated for the court, leading to a thrilling prom night for the class of ’88.
Yvonne Bernard, Joan Waricha, and Jane Stine will be executive producers, with Caroline Pitofsky overseeing production. Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson will serve as producers for Chernin Entertainment.
Author R.L. Stine announced the development of the new “Fear Street” movie on Twitter in January. This movie will be the fourth installment on Netflix, following the successful 2021 trilogy directed by Leigh Janiak.
Actors Ella Rubin, India Fowler, and Suzanna Son are represented by various agencies like Paradigm, Curtis Brown, Stride Management, Kipperman Management, and Jackoway Austen et al.
