Paramount Pictures has named Courtney D. Armstrong as its new COO. Armstrong will oversee business affairs, legal, and business development for the studio’s divisions. He previously served as president of business affairs and administration.
Robbins commended Armstrong’s expertise, stating he is well-respected in the industry. Armstrong joined Paramount in 2021 from Warner Bros., where he worked on major films. He also has experience at Walt Disney Pictures and Paul Hastings, LLP.
Armstrong holds degrees from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management. He is involved in various prestigious boards and councils. Paramount is confident in Armstrong’s ability to lead their operations.
