Meanwhile, the newly released film “Remember Me” secured third place. “Kung Fu Panda 4” made $6 million over the weekend, with a cumulative total of $11.4 million, gearing up for its official release on March 22.
“I Miss You,” a Chinese romantic drama, dropped to fifth place. China’s total weekend box office haul was $48.2 million, keeping the overall year-to-date box office 5% ahead of 2023.
