The much-awaited teaser of the Korean drama Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won is finally unveiled.
Written by Park Ji-eun, the writer of Crash Landing on You, My Love From the Star, and Producer, Queen of Tears will narrate the extraordinary, exciting, and comical love story of a married couple who defy all odds to overcome a crisis and remain together.
Kim Soo Hyun is set to portray the character of Baek Hyun Woo, who is the legal head of the conglomerate Queens Group.
On the other hand, Kim Ji Won will take on the role of his wife, Hong Hae In, who is the heiress of the chaebol and is famously referred to as the “queen” of Queens Group’s department stores.
The recently released teaser starts with Baek Hyun-woo being stunned, finding it hard to believe that he is drawn to Hong Hae-in. After gazing at her in amazement, he questions himself in puzzlement, “Why is she so beautiful? Why do I find her beautiful?”
Just as he was about to lean in for a kiss, Hong Hae-in surprised him by shouting aggressively, “Why aren’t you reacting? If you don’t react, you’re in big trouble!” Fleeing with a frightened cry, Baek Hyun-woo realizes, “I was wondering why my heart was racing so fast. It turns out it was because I was scared.”
Queen of Tears is all set to premiere on March 9, 2024 on OTT.
