Renowned Director Jonathan Glazer Supports Cinema for Gaza with Signed ‘Zone of Interest’ Posters, Fundraiser Surpasses $50,000 in 24 Hours

“The Zone of Interest” director Jonathan Glazer donates signed posters for a Cinema for Gaza auction, raising funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Before the fundraiser began, Glazer and James Wilson donated posters from “The Zone of Interest” and “Under the Skin,” signed by Glazer, Wilson, and Mica Levi. The auction has raised over £42,000 ($52,800) with current bids reaching £2,750 ($3,450).

Gifts for the auction include Tilda Swinton reading a bedtime story, Josh O’Connor teaching a masterclass, tickets to a Ramy Youssef show, and more signed items from actors and directors.

Jonathan Glazer’s speech at the Oscars received mixed reactions, with some praising it as brave and others denouncing it. Despite this, his donation to Cinema for Gaza shows his support for his stance.

The Cinema for Gaza auction will close on April 12.
