Marco Mueller is named artistic director of Italy’s Taormina Film Festival, joined by Sandra Hebron and Edouard Waintrop on the selection committee.
Taormina Film Festival has a rich history, held in a Sicilian resort with a stunning ancient Greek amphitheater and a list of notable past guests. The 70th edition will take place July 12-19.
Mueller, alongside a talented team, will aim to curate an exciting lineup in a short timeframe. Enrico Magrelli and Carmelo Marabello are also part of the programming team.
Mueller expressed his excitement for the opportunity, stating his personal connection to Italy and his eagerness to create a memorable festival experience in Sicily.
