“She-Hulk” star Tatiana Maslany went viral for criticizing Disney CEO Bob Iger during the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Maslany found it challenging to express herself while on the picket line in New York City last July. She called out Iger for being out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen.
Iger faced backlash for his comments during the strikes, where he mentioned that the demands of WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikers were not realistic.
SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher criticized Iger, calling his comments tone-deaf and out of touch with the reality faced by hardworking individuals in the industry.
Disney and Marvel have not confirmed a second season of “She-Hulk,” and Maslany’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains uncertain.
