Sony Pictures Classics Acquires Hilarious Comedy ‘Between the Temples’ Starring Carol Kane and Jason Schwartzman

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired worldwide rights to the hilarious comedy ‘Between the Temples,’ as it earned strong reviews at Sundance.

The film directed by Nathan Silver, stars Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane, with an unusual storyline of a middle-aged cantor and his adult music teacher.

Variety’s Guy Lodge praised the chemistry of the stars calling it a warm ‘Harold and Maude’ riff.

The film will debut at the Berlin International Film Festival in the Panorama section and features a talented ensemble.

The production team expressed excitement about the partnership with Sony Pictures Classics.

Director Nathan Silver expressed his gratitude for the deal with Sony Pictures Classics, acknowledging the company’s significant influence on his cinematic life.

The deal was negotiated between Sony Pictures Classics, Anonymous Content, and CAA Media Finance, with Stutz Law handling legal on behalf of the filmmakers.
