The Verve Lawsuit: Former CEO Bill Weinstein Takes Legal Action Against Talent Agency

Former Verve CEO Bill Weinstein has filed a lawsuit against the talent agency, alleging that he was improperly ousted from the company on Feb. 19 by two partners who are looking to sell the company.

Weinstein’s suit accuses Verve partners of a “misguided coup attempt” and aims to sell the agency without his involvement. Weinstein owns 25% of Verve but was fired by partners Bryan Besser and Adam Levine.

Verve’s attorney denied the allegations, stating that Weinstein’s termination was for cause and not an attempt to cover up misconduct. The complaint details violations of Verve’s rules in terminating Weinstein and locking him out of agency materials.

After Weinstein’s departure, several agents left Verve, highlighting a shift in the agency’s direction. Verve leadership emphasized that they aim to move forward without Weinstein and individuals who do not align with the agency’s vision.
