Tom Cruise is set to star in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s upcoming film, marking Iñárritu’s first English-language project since “The Revenant.” The movie will be produced and directed by Iñárritu, with a script co-written by him, Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, and Sabina Berman.
This project follows Tom Cruise’s recent deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to develop and produce theatrical films. Cruise’s last film with Warner Bros. was “Edge of Tomorrow” ten years ago. He has been in recent hits like “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” and has other films in the pipeline.
Iñárritu, known for award-winning works like “Birdman” and “The Revenant,” also has a virtual-reality short and a recent project “Bardo.” Both Cruise and Iñárritu are represented by CAA. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting collaboration.
